Fear is a human creation
Is it just me...or is this post about Iran and August 22 and the war on terror totally and utterly speculative and slanted? And is this an ABC News story or a blog or what? I'm confused. This isn't news. It's some sort of random musing that somehow twisted itself into a scary story. And now I'm all nervous about riding the subway tomorrow morning.

BOOOOO!!!! Scare tactics!
Don't believe the hype, man. You can't live your life if you're afraid of it.
Things like this always remind me of "Bowling for Columbine" when he had that segment on how the news uses fear to sell stories. So true! That's why I only watch MTV.

there was a wsj editorial on the topic a few weeks ago, bloggers & cable news picked it up... you know how this story ends.
yeah, it's absurd of abc news to blog it, but it's even worse that I watched several hours of msnbc today while testing new recipes and saw NOTHING but back-to-back jonbenet coverage. I say BOOOOO!!!! to that. not right.
