...but I'm outta control.

Here it is folks, and yes, it's perfect.
I'm totally sold, B tears it up.
Now I'm all lil' debbie* for some hot remixes.
The new album, "Bday", hits stores September 5th
(her actual Bday is Sept 4th, but we won't nit-pick).

Beyonce - Deja Vu (Music Video)

*overly anxious.
Like the feeling you get when opening a delicious lil debbie cake.
GimmeGimmeGimmeGimme! mmmmmm......

First of all, Truvy, thank you for sharing linguistic information with our readers. I think everybody who comes over to Shelby appreciates when we explain what the hell we're talking about when we use random terms like 'Lil' Debbie.'

As for the video...what can I say? Hot tamale. Beyonce is verrrrry J. Lo throughout this thing, and there's a little touch o' Halle Berry when she has her hair all up and tousled toward the beginning.

And did she take some diet pills before she filmed that last sequence? Lord, it looks like that epileptic girl from 'Diff'rent Strokes'!

YES! I saw this video yesterday and was hysterically laughing. Loves it.

A little more background about the origin of the phrase lil debbie: M'Lynn was having a party and Shelby (I believe Truvy) and I had the munchies. We started to open some lil debbie snack cakes, but were having some touble with the wrappers due to poor motor skills. Soon, we were trying so frantically and with such abandon that we started cracking up. And thus, lil debbie = frantic excitement.

totes. true story.

That (xmas?) party was the first time I'd ever met Shelby, Clairee, AND Ouizer, and I brought the lil debbie cakes as my party contribution. Seeing the two of them rip into them like savage beasts warmed my heart to the nth degree. Thanks to that (hilariously) sad display of gluttony and lack of self-control, we've been friends ever since.

1. I LOVE B's crazy eyes in this video. Outrageous.
2. I LOVE B's west african dance jumpoff. Hot.
3. I LOVE li'l that debbie snack cakes (and therefore, gluttony) are part of the glue that binds the Cabinet together.
